The perfect alternative to a dress or a skirt, playsuits are cool, comfy, and perfect for frolicking in!
Born in New York in the 1930s, playsuits (also known as rompers or onesies) soon became a beachwear essential in the 1940s. Women wore them to play sports or just to lounge around in. Marilyn Monroe glammed it up in the 1950s, and in the 1960s and 1970s, they became the in-thing to wear to the dance clubs!
Well, come 2014 and the timeless playsuit is still around! Looks like the trend is here to stay for decades to come!
