Hononulu Dreamin’

June 27th, 2014

We’re sure you’ve seen the tropical print around a lot lately, even on our Facebook page. Here’s more of this season’s hottest trend, in comfy rompers that will definitely keep you cool in the tropical heat. (Pun unintended.)

MIDNIGHT EXPLORER
A tropical print on the darker side. The bright colours of the leaves really pop against the pitch black, making this halter a true stunner – especially with that sexy cross-back!

PURPLE EXPLOSION
Here’s the tropical print in a vibrant collision of colours. A simple short-sleeved romper, with cute little wooden buttons down the front.

Hot on trend!

Ravishing Red

June 21st, 2014

A bold and vibrant colour – would you be able to pull it off? Don’t be afraid to give it a go, and take your pick from these ridiculously gorgeous pieces. We’re sure you’ll find something that suits your style, be it classy and elegant, fun and flirty, or cute and preppy.

Midi skirts are so on trend right now. Go ahead and jump into the trend, but be sure to stand out from the crowd with a one of a kind, vintage piece – and you can be especially assured to do so with the bold and beautiful red roses on this skirt. Such a classy piece.

Red hot summer dress, with the most adorable print and buttons! Psst, it also has lace-up detail on the back.

Adorable, preppy 1960s dress! Loving all the details, from the peter pan collar, statement (but not overly exaggerating) bow, quirky and oddly-shaped sewn-on buttons, and slightly ballooned sleeves. Made from a unique fabric that’s a mix of grey and red.

Summer Essential: The Playsuit

June 20th, 2014

The perfect alternative to a dress or a skirt, playsuits are cool, comfy, and perfect for frolicking in!

Born in New York in the 1930s, playsuits (also known as rompers or onesies) soon became a beachwear essential in the 1940s. Women wore them to play sports or just to lounge around in. Marilyn Monroe glammed it up in the 1950s, and in the 1960s and 1970s, they became the in-thing to wear to the dance clubs!

Well, come 2014 and the timeless playsuit is still around! Looks like the trend is here to stay for decades to come!

Hit the town in this playful and sexy 1980s candy-striped strapless playsuit.

Ok, so this one is little more conservative than the one featured above, but it’s a still a fun piece, with its cute and colourful floral prints! Dress it up with heels and a clutch bag, or dress it down with sandals and a simple sling bag for casual and lazy days.
