The picture on this vintage 1950’s/ 60’s porcelain brooch portrays a courting couple where a man is serenading his lady with a guitar, while the woman is holding a basket of flowers on her lap and has her hand holding a bouquet of flowers reaching out to him.
The picture was originally painted by a French painted called Jean-Honore Fragonard ( the painting has the artist’s name below the man’s feet), back in the 1700s.
At Granny’s Day Out, we love anything plastic on anything vintage!
Today, we present to you a lovely 1960s-70s sling bag with a faux tortoiseshell acrylic handle that gives this bag its special look! Two brown handles open up to reveal an interior of three compartments, accessible with just one zip. Very handy for those who are into… no prizes for guessing… compartmentalisation!
We also love how the material is crumpled up at the exterior of the bag, adding texture to its awesomeness!
Bring out the gambler in you with this dice necklace! Dices, symbolic of luck, are the main focus on this 1970s multi-strand necklace. The dices are all six-sided, and vary in size.
Very kitsch, and fun! Would go great with denim or a simple dress.
