Hey Evelyn, you’re looking goooood! Our customer popped by yesterday on the way to her own birthday party, looking TOPS in an outfit she had gotten from us two weeks ago – a vintage cropped denim top with a fire engine red tiered dress. She wanted to get something else to accessorise her already awesome ensemble, and picked a vintage scarf to wear as a hairband.

It’s so Carrie, we are totally loving it! โœ”โœ”โœ”

Looking good, Evelyn!

This lilac vintage dress is soft, feminine and beautiful, and perfect for when you want to feel pretty.

The stunning part of this dress (Size: M) is its bottom half, where a layer of the fabric is cut in a jagged manner, much like a giant leaf falling from the sky. With gathers on the front of the bodice to emphasize the bust, and smocking at the back for a comfortable fit, it’s one dress you don’t want to pass up.

We pair it with a classic black 1940s evening bag, and faux pearl waterfall earrings from the 1950s.

On one particular Granny’s Day Out, two grannies look on as a young Arnold Schwarzenegger flexes for them.

Grannies gawking!

At Granny’s Day Out, we love anything plastic on anything vintage!

Today, we present to you a lovely 1960s-70s sling bag with a faux tortoiseshell acrylic handle that gives this bag its special look! Two brown handles open up to reveal an interior of three compartments, accessible with just one zip. Very handy for those who are into… no prizes for guessing… compartmentalisation!

We also love how the material is crumpled up at the exterior of the bag, adding texture to its awesomeness!

Plastic handles are awesome

Get transported back in time with this vintage get-up!

This 1970s dress (Size: M) is so simple and pretty! Tiny pin stripes line it from top to bottom, with red floral piping curving the bodice. The cut is slimming, and a belt is not required, despite the belt loops – which can be snipped off!
It’s got two big pockets, great for those of you who like ’em. And we know everyone does! ๐Ÿ˜›
And to accessorise the look, we pop on giant designer Luxotica vintage sunglasses in a vibrant shade of yellow and a 1960s flower power mini suitcase.

Groovy!
